Once upon a glamorous time ...
there were eight illustrated city girls
(Aimee, Hope, Belle, Alex, Cherie, Violet, Sunny and Tiffany)
created especially to star in
the Ooh La Frou Frou Collection card line.

where each week ... the girls come to life!

Chic Ooh La Frou Frou city girl Aimee loves Paris.
She doesn't know why her heart runs on Paris time ...
it simply does.
Her days begin with the sultry notes of C'est Si Bon"
floating into the air from her pink french alarm clock
each morning ...
And every so often,
when Aimee can't resist the pull of Paris any longer,
she purchases an airline ticket,
locks the door of her lovely fantasy NY townhouse ...
... and becomes a Paris girl for a short time.
This is the story
of just one of those times ...
for Aimee has been dreaming sweet Paris dreams for weeks on end ...
~ Just what is a girl to do in a case like this? ~
She simply rings the other seven
Ooh La Frou Frou NY city girls
and requests they meet her ...
that very afternoon ...
at the absolute latest!
"Meet me at Laduree on Madison Avenue!"
Aimee requested of them all ...
~ So ~
on an early autumn afternoon,
eight Ooh La Frou Frou girls
stood in line, surrounded by the scent of sweet macarons
and listened while Aimee proposed a
grande Paris adventure ...
~ And Aimee's Proposal Sounded Like This ~
"Who wants to fly off to Paris with me for a week?" she asked ...
... "we'll lease an apartment and just pretend ...
to be real Paris girls ..."
"... we'll shop at the food and flower markets ..."
"... sip cappuccinos at outdoor cafes ..."
"... and perhaps even dance under sparkling lights
with a handsome frenchman ..."
Three of the seven other girls declared ...
"Yes! Yes! We'll do it!"
So ... four city girls planned a week-long trip to Paris ...
(in case you're new to the blog,
following are a few of the Ooh La Frou Frou cards
that these four destined-for-Paris girls star on ...
The girls that are going to Paris are:
(left to right):
Hope (our city girl who loves to shop);
Aimee (our city girl that is a Paris-girl-in-her-mind);
Belle (our southern girl living in the city);
and Alex (our city girl that's an entertaining whiz).
So, the four girls packed their bags and their grabbed their cameras ...
... and boarded a plane for the City of Light ...
with dreams of sending beautifully scripted postcards
adorned with Paris postage stamps back home ...
If you're wondering
how the girls would begin to know what to do in Paris ...
they were offered a little special help.
Darling Milla of a lovely blog called "Not Just Another Milla"
kindly offered her services in guiding the girls
in their grande Paris adventure ...
and what wonderful help she will be,
as Milla was a city girl for a time too, now living in Paris!
Here is Milla standing in the Paris Ralph Lauren boutique.
Milla began by suggesting that the perfect apartment
for the girls' grande fantasy adventure in Paris
might be on a street called
Rue De Grenelle
because it would put them right in the heart of it all ..
they'd be on the street that boasts
fabulous stores such as
Christian Louboutin, be surrounded
by cafes and bistros galore
and could walk to the beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg!
So, the arrangements were made ...
and when the girls arrived in Paris,
they could hardly contain themselves as they stood in awe
in front of their elegant french apartment
on the fabulous Rue De Grenelle!
